Fees Subsidy & Grants

Starting April 1, 2025, full and part-time Regional FDH Child Care Fees are being established

for all FDHs based on seven regions and two age categories:

-Infants (under 19 months) 

-Children between 19 months & Kindergarten age (requiring child care during school hours)

Additionally, the Child Care Subsidy Program for children up to kindergarten age (attending childcare during school hours) will be replaced with a flat and predictable monthly parent fee:

-$326.25 per month for full-time licensed child car for all families with children attending daycare and FDH.
This is equivalent to $15 a day.

-$230 per month for part-time will also be introduced.

*Extra services can apply depending the location such as meals, field trips, registration, waitlist, etc. 

The Child Care Subsidy Program for children in full-day kindergarten to Grade 6 enrolled in a licensed OSC program is not changing. This means that families with children attending licensed OSC will continue to be eligible to apply for and receive Child Care Subsidy, but in case of not being eligible, the family will be required to pay the full amount fee depending on the type of service require and the region where the family is located.

Funding will continue to be based on the number of hours a child is registered to attend each month. Children registered to attend less than 50 hours per month are not eligible for funding under the Affordability Grant.

Child Care Service Categories

●Full-Time Care: Children receiving 100 or more hours of care per month. This applies

to the following schedules:

-5 days per week throughout the month

-3 days per week with 25 or more hours per week

Part-Time Care: Children receiving between 50 and 99 hours of care per month. This

applies to the following schedules:

-3 days per week with less than 25 hours per week

-2 days per week throughout the month

After you finished your registration with the agency (forms and payment), you can apply using the name: VIP KIDS CORP to start the process.

As soon you received your Final Approval Amount as your childcare provider please send this information to our office to apply the amount to your service.

**We are not accepting the letter of Conditional Approval Amount or subsidies approval amount from other agencies, daycares or dayhomes just the letter of Final Approval Amount, meanwhile you are expecting this letter you MUST pay the complete monthly fee and in case you get the approval you will have a credit for the previous subsidy fee amount.
